How to create a filter on contact records to view their last successful contact date (based on completed History items)

    - All completed history items which were marked as successful, including sent emails linked to the contact record.
    - A date/time stamp appears on the "Summary" tab > "Last Contact" field which is not editable and consists of the following expression WDATE(contact2->lastconton) + ' ' + FMTTIME(contact2->lastcontat)

With this information a filter can be created to find out the contact records who had a last successful contact date (based on completed History items).

    Resolution

    1. Tools > filters

    2. Select which user via the "View Filters" drop down > New
    3. Name the filter on the "Properties" tab
    4. Select the "Build" tab
    5. From the drop downs:
    6. "Field Name" = "Lastconton"
    7. "Operator" can vary
    - For Example "Greater than" plus a date in the "Value" drop down will return all records with a last contact after the entered date.
    - "Less than" plus a date in the "Value" drop down will return all records with a last contact before the entered date.
    8. "Value" = the date which must be in yyyy-mm-dd format
    9. "Insert Condition" > OK

Note: To create a filter that returns results between two specific dates, two conditions must be selected
    - "Field Name" = Lastconton > "Operator" = "Greater than (or equal to) > "Value" = yyyy-mm-dd
    - Insert Condition
    - "Field Name" = Lastconton > "Operator" = "Less(er) than (or equal to) > "Value" = yyyy-mm-dd
    - Insert Condition
    - OK
