    Resolution

    1. On the Terminal Server machine (Windows 2008 x64) 2. Login with local administrator rights 3. Start >> Right Click on Computer >> Properties 4. on the left hand pane >> click on Advanced System Settings 5. browse to the tab Advanced 6. in section Performance >> click Settings 7. click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then  8.a. either  click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select and >> click Add, browse to the executable file for the program and add it. (This might be necessary for all applications which are intended to be run for several users on the Terminal Server (e.g. also IE, Crystal Reports etc) or alternatively  8.b. click Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only (this allows additional applications by default but might be declined by your IT due to security concerns) 9. any changes will be valid when the machine is restarted , so it might be useful to inform your users to log off the Terminal Server prior the restart 10. Observe behavior for the next days if BEX errors still occur
