After re-sizing one F2 Lookup window, all other F2 Lookup windows now appears as large and the buttons are occasionally not reachable - GoldMine keeps these layouts - Is there any way to reset the layout again?

    After re-sizing one F2 Lookup window, all other F2 Lookup windows now appears as large and the buttons are occasionally not reachable - GoldMine keeps these layouts - Is there any way to reset the layout again?


    After re-sizing one F2 Lookup window, here the Source F2 Lookup window, all other F2 Lookup windows now appear as so large and the buttons are occasionally not reachable anymore, for example for the Country 2 Lookup window.

    - Why is this the case
    - Can I reset them all at once again to the original layout?

    [STEPS TO REPRODUCE]

    1. Browse to Bea Defkow
    2. Open the F2 Lookup window for the field Source via clicking into the field >> F2 or the right arrow in the field
    3. Make the F2 Lookup Window much larger by dragging the bottom right corner to the right and bottom

    4. Cancel this dialog
    5. Open the F2 Lookup window the field Country via clicking into the field >> F2 or the right arrow in the field
    >> RESULT: The Buttons are not available as the F2 Lookup window exceeds the monitor size




    Resolution

    [CAUSE]
    - The size information will be stored as a user-specific setting in the ENVIRONMENT table and is valid for all F2 Lookup Windows
    - This setting is in the ENVIRONMENT table NAME='CF2LookupDlg' and USERID=GoldMine user in question 



    [STEPS TO RESET]
    A. Via the GoldMine GUI
    - This is the only official supported and recommended way

    1. Browse to Bea Defkow
    2. Open the F2 Lookup window for the field Source via clicking into the field >> F2 or the right arrow in the field
    3. Re-size the F2 Lookup Window by dragging the bottom right corner to the left and up, so that the window will be much smaller again  and acceptable again in size

    >> This will also re-size all other F2 Lookup windows again and the Country F2 Lookup window appears also again as complete




    B. Via the Database back end
    - While this workflow is officially not supported, it might be in specific environment necessary instead to reset the setting completely
    - it is recommended to have a full running backup prior any back end modification

    1. As the specific user log out of GoldMine
    2. In SQL Server Management Studio
    3. Browse to the GoldMine database
    4. Button New Query
    5. Copy and paste and adjust the following query for the specific user name

    delete from Environment where userid ='MICHAELA' and Name='CF2LookupDlg'

    6. execute the query via the red exclamation mark

    7. Log in as the specific user into GoldMine again and verify the size of any F2 Lookup window
    >> RESULT: The F2 Lookup windows are reset to GoldMine's initial and original size
