    Literature requests print for the wrong Contact when the MS Word template uses blank line suppression.  This is the result of the "IF" statement located at the beginning of the Macro.  As seen in this example   {IF "{DDEAUTO GOLDMINE DAT... ]


    Resolution

    Using GoldMine we will open the template for editing.
     1) From the GoldMine Toolbar select Go To >> Document Templates.
     2) Locate your document template from the list in the dialog box.
     3) Right click on the document, and select "Properties"
     4) In the dialog box that opens up, click the edit button.  Microsoft word will open up so you can edit the template.
     5) Highlight the entire document using by hitting the Control (Ctrl) A buttons.
     6) Now right click on one of the GoldMine merge fields, and select "Toggle Field Codes"
     7) Remove the "IF" statement located at the beginning of each GoldMine merge field

     8) Again highlight the entire document using by hitting the Control (Ctrl) A buttons.
     9) Now right click on one of the GoldMine merge fields, and select "Toggle Field Codes" to turn this off.
     10) Save and close the document template.
     
     Repeat the steps above for each document impacted with this issue.
