    How to add several contacts / relationships to an organization at once.


    Resolution

    There are 2 options to achieve this:

    A: If you already have a filter, a group or have tagged the desired records,  you can add them via the Link all Group/Filter Contacts to the section. This option is active when having an 'activated' range of contacts which can consist either of a filter, a group or simply tagged records


    Prerequisite: To have an activated filter, group or tagged records


    a. Tools > Filters > browse to desired filter > button Activate
     or
    b. Tools > Groups > browse to desired group  > button Activate
     or
    c. Tagged contact records are already activated


    Steps:
    1. Browse to the desired contact record (where the relationship tree is available)
    2.
     Open the tab Relationship
    3.
    Browse to the desired section
    4.
    Right Click on the desired organization or section > New Contact > Link all Group/Filter Contacts to the Section
    5.
    Confirm the upcoming message if you really want to add the activated records to the relationship
    6. Verify that all the desired records were added into the desired organization / section


    B. Select records ad hoc for adding to an existing relationship


    1. Open the desired Relationship
    2. Browse to the desired section
    3. Right Click on the desired organization or section > New Contact > Look up an existing Contact and add it to the Relationship Tree...
    4. In the upcoming Contact Search Center (CSC) > instead of selecting only one contact per double click > mark them via the check box on the left.
    NB: The only requirement is that all checked contacts are highlighted in one view of the CSC and that you do not change the view/selection (For example. Search for company xyz to have all records from one company available)
    5. When finished with your selection (the desired records are now highlighted) > double click on one of the highlighted records
    6. Verify that all the desired records were added into the desired organization / section

    Please keep in mind that GoldMine also provides features to add additional contact records to a relationship tree when converting those to primary contact records and also will create automatically relationship trees via the Create Default Relationship Trees feature.
