This error normally indicates that there is an issue with the application or one of the application files.
The first thing we advise is the following.
1. Backup the GoldMine directory
2. Delete all EXE and DLL files
3. Run a repair on the install via add\remove programs feature of Windows
4. Try and launch the application again.
