    Getting different dialog window when using back a step from Contact’s >> Pending Activities >> Add Activity and retry to schedule activity. GMME is now creating a Completed activity instead of a Pending Activity.


    [STEPS TO REPRODUCE]

    1. Log into GMME (being by default on activities)
    2. Select Contacts 
    3. Select All Contacts
    4. Drill down on this contact 
    5. Scroll down and drill into Pending Activities
    6. Select + icon to Create a new Pending
    7. Button Pending (means one step back)
    8. Clicking again + (Create a new Pending)
    9. Click on any Activity Type (apart from Sale which is RM Issue # 225196)

    [RESULT]

    It may appear that everything is OK, but on a closer look it turns out this is now the adding a History (completing an activity) dialog and not anymore the add a Pending activity >> for example the default Code SUCCESS is set already

    Resolution

    [CAUSE]
    this is logged as RM # 225200 - GM Mobile (GMME), when using back step on (e.g. after failing to create a Forecast from Contact’s Pending Activities area) and retry to schedule activity, GMME is now creating a Completed activity instead of Pending


    [WORKAROUND for Activities other than Sales]
    -  in order to create another pending activity than a (Forecast) Sale like an Appointment or a  Call again, the user needs to go  back to the contact record's info and click Pending Activities again.
    - It  is necessary to follow the below steps as otherwise a completed activity will be added instead of a scheduled  activity.
    - When the user wants to create a scheduled Sales activity, the user needs to refer to the second part of workaround steps. This is due to an issue within GoldMine Mobile (GMME) necessary and also available as a related Knowledge Article # 15877  


    1. Pending


    2. Info (in no case the + sign again!)


    3. Scroll down and drill into Pending Activities



    4. Select + icon to Create a new Pending


    5. Click on any other Activity than Sale (otherwise the issue is experienced again)


    [WORKAROUND for Sales activities]
    -  in order to schedule a Forecasted Sale the user needs to schedule the  Forecast from the Activities tab instead of from the Contact’s >>  Pending  Activities area

    1. Tab Activities



    2. Select + icon to Create a new Activity


    3. Click Sale


    4. make sure to activate the Link (to a contact record) +
    Select or Search a Contact record by clicking into the To Contact field



    5. Enter the further desired Forecast detail
    6. Done (when finished)



    7.  Verify that the Forecast was created as desired
