When running the standard setup.exe file to install HelpDesk, you may experience an installshield error as follows:

This error is thrown by Setup.exe when the InstallScript engine fails to install properly.
The most common reason for getting this error message is because the windows account that you are logged on as does not have local administrative rights on the machine. Try logging on as Administrator and run the setup.exe again.
However, there are other possibilities. Below is InstallShield's KB Entry on the problem, it has also been seen before when Norton Anti-virus is running and it needs to be turned off before the install will run.
