This article discusses disabling HMC rules.
There is no feature in HMC to disable a rule, rules can only be deleted. However in HMC console > HEAT Messaging Center > Messaging Rules (tab) > Select the Filter > Conditions, a user can add a condition that would force a message to by-pass the rule. For example in an email associated rule, add an usual value in the subject line condition that would be unlikely to occur in the HEAT environment. See below for a Subject line condition example -
