    Details

    After rehosting the iGoldMine license and putting the permanent license into play, the following error shows in the iGoldMine APS logs after the user is presented with a generic "A licensing error has occurred"

    ERROR: This version of the product cannot be run with the current license.  Please obtain a new license.

     


    Resolution

    1. Copy the iGoldMine  .lic file from the iGoldMine program directory (This can be easily found by right clicking on iGoldMine Cluster Manager icon > Properties > Open File Location/Find Target)

    2. Download the latest iGoldMine Installation files from the FrontRange Support Support Site Drivers and Downloads:  https://support.frontrange.com/Support/Login.aspx
    3. Open the iGoldMine .lic file with Notepad.
    5. Fill in the License Upgrade\Rehost request form
    6. Provide the product code which is in the contents of the iGoldMine .lic file
    7.Click Obtain license (your license should be emailed to you within 24-48 Business Hours).
    8. Click Submit (your license should be emailed to you within 24-48 Business Hours).
    9. Install the downloaded iGoldMine program on the new iGoldMine server.
