    Using GoldMine Premium Edition through Remote Desktop Connection (RDP) and cannot locate the running program in Windows Task Manager.

    - Please note: Using GoldMine through this type of remote connection is not officially tested.  The information provided in this resolution is NOT GoldMine specific,  and is provided as-is with no further guarantee of any kind.

    - While it is recommended to try to close GoldMine always vie the user interface for example the red x (top right) or File >> Exit menu there might be occasions where users users will attempt to manage the GoldMine Premium Edition program further by using the Windows Task Manager. The most common method of accessing the Task Manager is by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL on the keyboard, and then opening the Task Manager.

    - Typically when this is done in such a scenario, the Windows Task Manager that opens is for the local system that the Remote Desktop Connection is being accessed from - this means that GoldMine Premium Edition does not display in the list of running applications. 

    - To access the Windows Task Manager on the system which is actually running the GoldMine application, follow these steps: 

    1. Right-Click on the Windows START BAR on the opened RDP session.
    2. Click START TASK MANAGER.

    - This will open the Windows Task Manager on the system which is HOSTING both the GMPE application, and the Remote Desktop Connection.
