"Failed to create Journal#Email record/update Approval" when replying with Denied in email response

    Service request that sends out a Approval notification fails to update when user responds Denied. Rather it errors stating "Failed to create Journal#Email record/update Approval".


    In the FRS_ApprovalVoteTracking Business Object, there is a form-level Required Business Rule that needs to be disabled. This was disabled correctly on the Default form but it was still enabled on this form, which is what's being used for the Administrators layout FRS_ApprovalVoteTracking:

    To Disable:

    Launch Configure Application
    Select Business Objects
    In the Find, enter FRS_ApprovalVoteTracking
    Select the Business Rules tab
    In the "Show rules for form:", select FRS_ApprovalVoteTracking from the dropdown
    Check the "Do not show any object-wide rules...."
    Expand the Required Rules
    Disable the Required rule for the Reason
    Refresh browser
