    1. Start or try to restart the iGoldMine 9 License Manager Service
    >> RESULT:
    - An error message appears on screen: The iGoldMine License Manager service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.


    - The Windows Event log remains usually without an log entry

    - The License.Log (by default in C:\Program Files\FrontRange\iGoldMine\Programs) shows an entry like

    Resolution

    [CAUSE]
    - The license file (*.LIC) itself is wither invalid or corrupt, for example line breaks missing



    [RESOLUTION]

    - The best solution would be to restore the *.LIC file from the original delivery or from a proper backup
    - Another possibility would be to verify for example that line breaks are appropriately set and try again with the existing *.LIC file
