    Is it possible to create a standard CallType called "Placeholder" that would pre-populate on new tickets so that the Service Desk isn't required to complete this field before saving?


    Resolution

     

    This would require the Service Desk role to have a designated ViewSet.  In the View of the CallLog table associated to this ViewSet, modify the CallType field and set a Default value of PlaceHolder.

    The literal value "PlaceHolder" must exist as a valid CallType value in the CallType table.
