Only SA can logon until a valid license can be applied to this system

    Error:

    logon failed. license validation failed. The license key installed does not match the license agreement for this system. Only SA can logon until a valid license can be applied to this system.

     

     

    Resolution:

    This may be caused by the fact that the console has been set to use Explicit login in the console.exe.config file but the service that the console is connecting to is an intergrated service.  Even though the console may have said that you were logged in as SA the service that you are connecting to is actually logging you in as your network user.  This is why you are still getting this error even though you are trying to connect as SA.

     

    Please make sure that the TPS host and Url lines in the console.exe.config file are pointing to an explicit service to resolve this problem.
