    Toggle Device mode in order to simulate different devices and connection modes on Google Chrome?

    How to test GoldMine Web for responsive designs on various resolutions?


    Resolution

    Google Chrome offers a feature Simulate Mobile Devices with Device Mode within Google Chrome with which different resolutions e.g. on iPads, Samsung Galaxy etc. devices can be tested within one tab without having all other tabs being also resized.

    [STEPS]

    Either
    1. Open Google Chrome
    2. Customize and control Google Chrome Icon
    3. More Tools >> Developer Tools


    4. Toggle Device Mode (second Icon)


    or alternatively
    1. Open Google Chrome
    2. F12 (open the Developer Tools)
    3. Toggle Device Mode (second Icon)


    or alternatively
    1. Open Google Chrome
    2. F12 (open the Developer Tools)
    3. CTRL + SHIFT + M


    - In the Device drop down you can select from a variety of devices like Apple iPad in various versions or Samsung Galaxy devices etc.



    - In the Network drop down you can select from various connections like GPRS, Regular 3G, Wifi etc.



    - With selecting a certain device the mouse events will be translated into touch events and the mouse icon will change


    Additional Notes:

    - While providing these simulating options, real devices and connections may result in a different experience and it is recommended still to test on real existing devices
