When launching any LANDesk tools from the right-click menu on a CI item in Service Desk you see the error message: "Could not retrieve LANDesk computer ID from attribute "AssetManagement.Asset.Name"" (or similar attribute path), this is because the wrong attribute has been mapped to the Computer ID within DesktopManager.
For a LANDesk asset you should be importing and mapping to the Computer.Id attribute. This attribute will always be a number!
Do not map to the Computer.Device ID attribute (which is a Guid), the computer name, IP or MAC address. Doing so will cause the error above when trying to launch any tools from the right-click menus.
