    Have a user that is receiving multiple copies of each email in the GoldMine mailbox


    Resolution

    Cause: The user has "Auto-retrieve" set but doesn't have "Auto-delete" set. In GoldMine Corporate edition, emails were never checked for unique mail IDs so every time the email would get pulled into the inbox but not deleted from the mail server, it would download multiple duplicates of each email.   You will need to check "Auto-delete" under tools>>options>>Email>>accounts>>Edit to ensure that once the email is downloaded into GoldMine, it will be deleted off of the email server and won't get pulled in multiple times.  NOTE: this only applies to GoldMine Corporate edition. GoldMine Premium edition can check the unique Mail IDs/Message IDs to ensure that it doesn't retrieve more that one copy of the email off of the email account.
