How to modify the "New Record Menu" in the Knowledge Business Object for removing one of the options.
In order to modify the menu in a List View of a Business Object, it is necessary to create a new List View, similar to the existing one, with the options required. In this procedure, we are showing how to modify the default menu of the Knowledge BO removing the "New Reference" option of the menu.
- In the AdminUI, access the following path:
Once ended, you should do the same procedure for the Service Desk Layout, that it is
- In the Layout Editor, click on Add New List View
- Fill the configuration in the same way as that of the gridView, but leave the configuration for FRS_Knowledge.Reference as default
Return to the Layout Editor, and select the new ListView, in this case called gridNoReference, as Initial View.
Save the changes and reload the Knowledge top level tab. You should see the menu as in the screenshot
