Statistics Console receiving "Connect timed out" error when connecting to IPCM

    This article provides the solution to this error.


    Resolution

     

    1. Stop the following services -
      a. Statistics and Metrics Engine
      b. Web Statistics Provider

    2. Start the following services -
      a. Statistics and Metrics Engine
      b. Web Statistics Provider


    3. Delete all Statistc Console connection configurations. This will require creating a new connection then deleting one or more existing connections (that do not successfully connect and receive error).

    4. Add a new Stat Console connection and configured to connect (already provided in step 3 above).
