How to enable Analytic Metrics for other roles

    The Analytic Metrics is only available to the Administrator role. How do we enable it for other roles?


    Resolution

    Add the Top Level Tab 


    Go into Configure Application 

    Click on Users and Permissions > Roles and Permissions 

    Select the Role to which you wish access to the Analytic Metrics 

    Click on Top Level Tabs 

    Click on Add New Tab 

    Select Analytics Metrics 

    Give it a Name, then click on "Add this Tab" 

    Save 

     

    Publish the Dashboard for the Role in Analytic Metrics 

     

    Open the Analytic Metrics Work space

    Click on Edit Mode

    Click on Publish Dashboard 

    From the Role dropdown, select the appropriate role

    Click on the Available Dashboard and select the -> to move to Published Dashboards

    Repeat for other Available Dashboards as needed

    Save

     

    Give access rights to the role in Analytic Metrics

     

    Open the Analytic Metrics Work space

    Click on Edit Mode

    Click on Manage Metrics

    Click on the appropriate Dashboard ie. Service Desk Metrics

    For each metric, click on Edit

    Click on Access Rights

    Select the appropriate Role and click -> to add to the "Accessible for:"

    Save
