When trying to open and edit an old report on the Report Server RDP Desktop, users are not able to login, the screen just flashes.

User is using the wrong login name for this point in the report editing process.
Use the following to login (changing tenant to your tenant url, and user.report to the login name assigned to you)
You will be able to login by double-clicking a report on the RDP desktop using the proper credentials.
