When Launching HSS you recieve error: Could not execute query.  Trying to save ticket get error: Failed to save call record.

    After committing an Edit Set, when a user launches HSS they receive the error: Could not execute query.  

    HSS eventually opens but when trying to submit a new ticket they get the error: Failed to save call record.

     


    Resolution

    HSS configuration is loaded with out any data database schema information as a result of the commit of the Edit Set.

    Whenever committing an Edit Set or applying a Quick Customization, always restart the HEAT Web Server Service. 
    This will prevent these two errors from happening to end users.
