    Resolution

     

    To pull the Incident Symptom field into the outgoing Description value on the New Task Notification, follow these steps:


    1.  Edit the Triggered rule for New Task Notification.

    2.  On the Send Email action:

         a.  Remove the inserted $(Details) field value.

         b.  Replace it with the value $([Incident#.Rev3]Symptom).

    3.  Save the rule and refresh the application.

    4.  Test functionality on a new Task creation.
