What options are available to import history and other non contact1 or contact2 table data into GoldMine?
1 - There is not an option natively in the GoldMine interface to import data into such areas as history, pending, etc.
2 - It is possible to accomplish this via SQL directly but the product is not 'aware' of this import/change and generally causes unintended problems.
3 - There are some 3rd party software programs that use the GoldMine API. This option is generally good provided the software uses the GoldMine API. The GoldMine Support Desk does not have a specific piece of software to suggest as we do not make or support these products. Consider asking the vendor of such a product to demonstrate their product in your GoldMine deployment.
