"The TCP / IP connection to the host has failed" error message is received when attempting to test connection in HEAT Web Server DB Config tool.
This can be a corrupt main.cfg.xml file or database credentials:
1. From C:\Program Files\HEAT\WEBUI\webapps\HeatWebUI\WEB-INF\classes Rename main.cfg.xmlto main.cfg.old
2. Start the HEAT Web Server DB Config tool
3. Re-enter proper database credentials making sure Host* is the location of the HEAT database Server.
