How to set the Log Level in Heat 20xx.

    There are several cases where a customer may need to modify the log levels in the application ... how can this be done?
    Case 1 - The Customer is experiencing an issue where logs are taking up a lot of space so they would like to reduce the log level.
    Case 2 - The logs are not providing sufficient information to diagnose an issue so they would like to increase the log level.

     


    Resolution

    The log levels can be adjusted based on need as follows:


    In the Client Application:
    1. Open the client as an administrator 
    2. Select More > Logging Configuration
    3. Select the log of interest and open 
    4. Set the log level as desired.

    Alternatively:
    In the Administrative Application:
    1. Configure Application
    2. Select Application Logs > Logging Configuration
    3. Select the log of interest and open 
    4. Set the log level as desired.
