    How do I restrict which Display Tabs are shown (and in which order) for all users.  We don't want our users to be able to change them even in their own session.


    Resolution

    As a master user, make the desired changes in the Display Tabs customization to select which tabs, and in what order, you want to set for all users.


    Click the drop-down arrow next to the Tabs of any contact record

    and choose Customize

    Select the desired columns and desired order, then sign out of GoldMine

    Open the master.ini file (typically found in C:\programdata\GoldMine on the server) and find the ROTab section

    e.g.
    ROTabItemsOrder=g5;g7;g8;
    ROTabItemsHidden=g14;g3;g2;g12;g13;g15;g0;g1;g4;g6;g9;g10;g11;pPC;pPart&ner;

    Copy the selection from the master.ini and paste it into the main gm.ini (typically found in C:\programdata\GoldMine on the server) under the UserOverRide:GoldMine section.
