    How is the description field populated in the audit tables?


    Resolution

     

    Audits are tied to the parent through Incident.RecId = Audit_Incident.AuditHistoryUpdatedRecId

     

    AuditHistoryEventType

    1 = Insert

    2 = Update

    3 = Link

     

    Each field that is audited gets three fields in the audit table 

    <fieldname>

    <fieldname>_IsChanged

    <fieldname>_Old


    OOTB, Status and Status_Old is configured to be 'Hidden from UI'

     

    If you want to be able to build a saved search on those values, you would need to go into the target audit table and uncheck 'Hidden from UI' for any of those fields.
