Can you print just the list parameter values for a service request in a notification?

    Resolution

Using the list along with replace, you can print the values in a more readable format for notifications.

The last variable is using the HTML tag for line break "BR" (it actually runs the BR when pasted so you don't see it)

    $(GetSRPValue(RecId, "list_1"))

    $(Replace(GetSRPValue(RecId, "list_1"), "~^", ", "))

    $(Replace(GetSRPValue(RecId, "list_1"), "~^", "\r\n"))

    $(Replace(GetSRPValue(RecId, "list_1"), "~^", "</br>"))

    Output:

If you can get the RecID of the service request, you can use the GetSRPValue() function to pull the list value in approval just the same.

It’s just a matter of getting to the RecID of the request offering. If this is on the Approval Vote tracking object, you should be able to use the field PrimaryParentRecId.

So something like below may work from the approval side, ONLY when it’s a service request. You can check its parent type by use of the PrimaryParentCategory field.

    $(Replace(GetSRPValue(PrimaryParentRecId, "list_1"), "~^", ", "))
