    Tab order for Service Request CustomerOwnershipForm form has Customer set as 0 or 1, but no cursor appears when a record is created.

    As soon as you hit the Tab key, the cursor appears in the Customer field, but regardless of configuration, the cursor will not start present on the form when it loads.

     


    Resolution

     

    This behavior is due to an 'Out of the Box' configuration on the ServiceReq header form. 

    Navigate to Business Objects -> ServiceReq -> Forms and edit the ServiceReqHeader.New form
    Note that there’s a hidden ‘Customer’ field on this form… if you unhide it, it’s apparent that this field is where the cursor ends up. 
    Delete this field from the form, and the cursor ends up in the Customer field on the ServiceReq.CustomerOwnershipForm form as expected.
