    Details

    "delivery failure. your message has encountered delivery problem.  MMODE.com destination domain does not exist"
    This issue is also documented as RM#161026

    Resolution

    [CAUSE]

    This error is a result of a change to the email domain which is specified by a selection in GoldMine has changed.
    For example:
    AT&T  previously used the @mmode.com domain for this service, which is what  GoldMine has built-in, but AT&T appears to be phasing that domain  out and are instead using @txt.att.net.

    This issue has been forwarded to the Product Engineering team as RM#161026

    [WORK-A-ROUND]

    -There is NOT a way to change the email domain that is built into the GoldMine application for a given selection in this scenario.
    -There is a workaround method to add a NEW provider selection, which will include updated information:

    1. Make sure all users are logged out of GoldMine.
    2. On the application server, open the GoldMine application folder.
    3. Locate the file called gm.ini.
    4. Make a backup copy of the gm.ini file.
    5. Open Gm.ini with the notepad application.
    6. Edit the gm.ini in the [SMS] section, following the example provided below:

    [SMS]
    Providers=ATT
    [SMS_ATT]
    ShortName=ATTNEW (identifier stored in number’s corresponding Ext field, 6 char max.)
    LongName=AT&T Wireless New Domain (Provider drop down option)
    Email=txt.att.net (Provider’s domain)
    Maxlength=160 (Maximum message length)
