Names of parameter fields in Service Request offerings were changed, and now they are missing from older records

    When fields are deleted and readded to a Service Request offering form, or the UniqueID modified for a field, the field is no longer displayed for any Service Request records submitted prior to the change.


    Resolution

    Because of the structure of Service Requests (which consist of many linked objects), changing the Unique ID of a field will unlink it from previously submitted records. To correct this issue and consolidate the broken fields, a script will need to be run directly on the database by Operations. Support will need the name of the offering/template, the affected field(s), and the previous and current uniqueID values.
