HEAT Discovery - How to add the "Decompress Message" button to the Message Queue Journal workspace in tenants that have been upgraded to 2016.2+

    Details

    The 2016.2 release added a feature where an admin can decompress the message payload for any Message in the Message Queue Journal workspace.  For customer that started on older versions the toolbar button will need to be added to the list view and form view to make this feature available.  To do so, please follow the instructions in the Resolution section of this article.


    Resolution

    -Login to HEAT as an Admin

    -Click Configure Application
    -Click Business Objects on the left and then search for "Message Queue Journal"
    -Go to Layouts and open the layout for the role you intend to use (OOTB there is only one such layout)
    -Click ListView
    -Click the Edit button on the right end of the Toolbar area
    -Find the "Decompress Message" action in the button section and drag it up to the toolbar (preferably on the right hand side)
    -Click Save (There will be 3 Save buttons to click, two on modal dialogues and then the red one in the Upper left for the changes BO as a whole.)
    -Go back to the Layout
    -Click Formview
    -Click the Edit button on the right end of the Toolbar area
    -Find the "Decompress Message" action in the button section and drag it up to the toolbar (preferably on the right hand side)
    -Click Save (There will be 3 Save buttons to click, two on modal dialogues and then the red one in the Upper left for the changes BO as a whole.)
    -Return to the normal UI and refresh with F5
    -The Decompress Message button should be available in the Message Queue Journal workspace on both list and form views.
