    How to add the Incident, Service Request, Problem, and Change number to the subject line of the outbound email from Journal.Email?


    The number is not added when you click the email button from Journal Email button menu from the main form.



     


    Resolution

     

    1. Login with administrator role.

    2. Go to configure application. Go to business object.

    3. Go to Journal.Email object under business rules and create a new initialization rule.

    4.  Add the following criteria for the Subject field.

      then "Incident# " + ToString([Incident#.]IncidentNumber)
      else if [Change#.]ChangeNumber != null
           then "Change# " + ToString([Change#.]ChangeNumber)
           else if [ServiceReq#.]ServiceReqNumber != null
                then "Service Request# " + ToString([ServiceReq#.]ServiceReqNumber)
                else if [Problem#.]ProblemNumber != null
                     then "Problem# " + ToString([Problem#.]ProblemNumber)
