How to send notifications when Tasks have been accepted via email

    How to send notifications when Tasks have been accepted via email. Customer knows to add a trigger but how does one trigger only if the task was accepted via email listener.


    Resolution

    Create a trigger on the Task.Assignment business object, based on update of field Status = "Accepted" with a condition of AcknowledgedBy = InternalServices and an action of Send Email.


    In Configure Application, open the Task.Assignment business object
    Create a new Trigger as shown below:


    Click Next  
    Create a new Action of Send Email 
    Enter values for the Notification (From, To, Subject, Body)
    Save
    Refresh browser
