    Resolution

    [STEPS TO RESOLVE]
    - By default the ODBC Data Soruces setup within the GoldMine Reports Center >> Right Click >> Set ODBC Data Sources is user specific and the setting is stored in the related USER.INI >> With the following steps this can be set as an override setting in the GM.INI which sets the ODBC Data Sources within GoldMine Report Center for all users

    1. Log in as a user with master rights
    2. Go To >> Reports >> Reports
    3. Right click on Crystal Reports entry >> Set ODBC data sources
    4. Apply / Set the correct settings
    5. Close GoldMine
    6. Browse to the GoldMine shared folder
    7. Open the user’s (from above) USER.INI e.g. MASTER.INI
    8. Search for the entry

    [Crystals]
    DSN0= appropriate ODBC
    UserID0=sa
    Password0= sa password
    DSN1= appropriate ODBC
    UserID1=sa
    Password1= sa password

    9. Open the GoldMine system’s GM.INI with Notepad
    10. Copy and paste the above identified section at the end of the GM.INI
    11. Adjust the section header from [Crystals] to [User-Override:Crystals] so it will appear now as

    [User-Override:Crystals]
    DSN0=appropriate ODBC
    UserID0=sa
    Password0= sa password
    DSN1= appropriate ODBC
    UserID1=sa
    Password1=sa password

    12. Save the GM.INI
    13. Test the behavior for a user who does not set the ODBC connection from within GoldMine
