When any of my users attempt to log in to GoldMine, they see the error "Waiting for permission to log in" applies to GoldMine 2014.2 or higher
The License file is renamed when a full maintenance from within GoldMine is performed. The LicenseGM94.bin file is renamed by GoldMine to LicenseGM94.bix so users cannot access the product while maintenance is running. Prior renaming back the file, verify with the GoldMine administrator if there is still maintenance in progress. The maintenance may have failed or was interrupted and therefore the file did not get renamed back.
1. Navigate to the GoldMine application server's GoldMine shared folder, in default installations, this would be C:\Programdata\GoldMine and locate the file called "LicenseGM94.bix"
2. Right-click on the file and select "Rename" to rename the file to LicenseGM94.bin
3. Log into GoldMine to test
