    [RESULT]
    - It might be possible to get the following login page where it is not possible to log on as the Sign in button remains inactive

    Resolution

    [CAUSE]
While in most cases the Internet Explorer compatibility setting will cause this behavior - please refer to related KM Article #20154 in order to verify and adjust this, especially on Windows Server 2008 Operating systems this behavior can be experienced, due to the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration feature (IE ESC) which is enabled by default for Administrators and Users.

    [SUGGESTIONS]
    - Either turn off the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration (IE ESC) by referring to your Windows Operating Server's Online Help or Documentation
    - Or recommended: To download, install and test with a different supported browser, for example Google Chrome which will neither be affected by the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration (IE ESC), nor Internet Explorer's compatibility view settings
    - Or test from a different client machine (with the appropriate website reference for example http://servername/GoldMine/web)
