Changes made to a definition set commit successfully, but are not reflected in Configure Application. ITSM 7x

    Details

    Changes have been made to a definition set, such as adding a field to a business object, and those changes have been committed without error. The changes are visible in the Client and the Database, but not when accessing Configure Application. 


    This article details one possible solution to this issue. 

     


    Resolution

    First, rule out the changes being hidden by the use of a given Perspective (WebSelfServiceMain vs None).


    If the perspective is not found to be the cause of the issue, perform a full reinstall of the 7x client in the affected environment.
