iPhone was added as a CI after logging in to HEAT using the IOS App

    After logging in using the Mobile App for iPhone/iPad a CI record is created for the device. 

    Why is this and can this be disabled or avoided?

     


    Resolution

     

    Recording the CI when a mobile device logs in to the app is an integral part of the mobile application. The CI records the device ID, which is used to handle push notifications and other functionality.

    The web client does not require this functionality, so if the customer would prefer not to have the CI added, they can potentially utilize the web client as an alternative.
