    Resolution

    Note: The following script is provided "as is" from GoldMine Technical Support.    More information about "suspect databases" can be found on technet.microsoft.com search "suspect databases"

    It is recommended you contact a SQL DBA for all database related issues.

    1. Create a backup of the raw database files of the affected database
    2. Because of it's state, you will be unable to create a database backup via SQL Server Management Studio
    3. Browse out to the "Microsoft SQL Server" folder via Windows Explorer
    4. Search for the files:
    <database name>.mdf and <database name>_log.ldf
    5. Create a copy of these files and paste them to another directory
    6. In SQL Server Management Studio, execute the following query:

    EXEC sp_resetstatus <database name>;
    ALTER DATABASE <database name> SET EMERGENCY
    DBCC checkdb(<database name>)
    ALTER DATABASE <database name> SET SINGLE_USER WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE
    DBCC CheckDB (<database name>, REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS)
    ALTER DATABASE <database name> SET MULTI_USER

    7. Refresh the databases
    8. The (suspect) status will be removed and users should now be able to log into GoldMine successfully
