    If there are more Contact Groups than the set  display limit in the System settings >> Display, further groups  seem not to have any member entries anymore 

    [STEPS TO PREPARE]
    In  a demo database there are 2 contact groups available Customers and  Prospects (usually under the MASTER from the original installation  procedure)
    1. Tools >> Groups
    2. Select the user where the 2 groups Prospects and Customers exist
    3. Right Click on one of the groups >> Clone
    4. Provide a new name >> OK
    5. Make sure that the cloned group is created and has the identical members than the original group
    6. Repeat the steps 1. - 5. at least 10 times so that there are at least 12 groups available


    [STEPS TO REPRODUCE]
    -  these steps are only to demonstrating the behavior a real life scenario  will usually be that the amount of contact groups are more than for  example 1000 (the logging customer had for (public) 1022 groups and  therefor recognized the behavior)
    1. Login as a user with master rights
    2. Tools >> Configure >> System Settings
    3. Tab Display
    4. Make sure the Limit for maximum records shown as default 500
    5. OK
    6. Tools >> Groups
    7. Browse down to the last available group and highlight the group
    8. Verify the Members preview pane that the members of the current group are displayed correctly
    9. Try the Edit button (or Delete or Select button)
    >>  RESULT: The members of the contact group are displayed and all appears  correctly, also when resorting the groups after codes or names etc. the  last groups are always displaying the correct members


    10. Tools >> Configure >> System Settings
    11. Tab Display
    12. Change the Limit for maximum records shown as to 10
    13. Tools >> Groups
    14.  Browse down to the last available group and highlight the group, in  this case this means you have to overcome the set limit for maximum  shown records in order to see and highlight the last contact group
    15.  Highlight several groups in the upcoming list and verify the Members  preview pane that the members of the current group are displayed  correctly
    16. Try the Edit button (or Delete or Select button)
    >>  RESULT: Some group's members pane appear now as blank although the  group itself displays that there should be members, the same happens  when resorting the groups etc.

    [WORKAROUND]
    -  Set the Limit appropriately which is expected not to affect the  system's performance too much but cover such Lookup lists, usually  customers do not have more than 1000 lookup values so 1500 might be a  reasonable value.

    1. Login as a user with master rights
    2. Tools >> Configure >> System Settings
    3. Tab Display
    4. Make sure the Limit for maximum records shown to an appropriate value for example 1500
    5. OK

    - Additionally it is advised to 'clear' by  verifying if any contact groups might be already deleted as they are not  used anymore or alternatively cloned or via Edit changed to certain  other user in case a reference is still necessary .
