Customer would like to restrict access for Self Service users to view or edit articles of a specific knowledge type.
You can restrict any access to an object based on certain conditions.
Here are the steps on how to restrict access permissions for the Self Service role based on the type 'Knowledge':
1. Log into the AdminUI under the Administrator role
2. Go to Configure > Users and Permissions > Roles and Permissions > Role: SelfService > Object Permissions:
3. Find object 'FRS_Knowledge' and select 'Edit' under the Access column
4. Add new case
> update and save.
5. Log into the application under the Self Service role: KB articles with the type 'Knowledge' should not longer appear under that role.
