    GoldMine Web (GMWEB) - Lookup list for Result (Code) when creating a History item (without prior scheduling it) will be taken from Calls and not from the specific Activity type (Action, Event/Appointment)

    - GMConnect configured and running properly

    [STEPS TO PREPARE]

    US Demo database in place as there are several lookup values available for the RESULT code when completing an activity

    1. Log into GoldMine
    2. Browse to Bea Defkow
    3. Complete >> Pending Activities
    4. Select in the Unscheduled Activity section >> Appointment
    5. OK
    6. Open in the upcoming Complete an Appointment dialog the F2 Lookup list (via the right arrow) for Result:
    7. Verify and/or document the available RESULT Codes
    >> RESULT:
    Field Entry
    CAN//Cancelled
    COM//Completed
    SLE//Sold!


    8. Cancel
    9. Complete >> Pending Activities
    10. Select in the Unscheduled Activity section Event 
    11. OK
    12. Open in the upcoming Complete an Event dialog the F2 Lookup list (via the right arrow) for Result:
    13. Verify and/or document the available RESULT Codes
    >> RESULT: this list is blank


    14. Cancel
    15. Complete >> Pending Activities
    16. Select in the Unscheduled Activity section Other Action

    1. Log into GoldMine Web
    2. Browse to / Search for Bea Defkow and open her record
    3. Create History icon
    4. By default Complete Call appears
    5. Open in the upcoming Complete Call dialog the Lookup list (via the right arrow) for Result:
    6. Verify and/or document the available RESULT Codes
    >> RESULT: They are as expected identical to the available lookup values from Preparation Steps 25.


    7. Cancel
    8. Create History icon
    9. By default Complete Call appears >> change this to an Action
    10. Open in the upcoming Complete Action dialog the Lookup list (via the right arrow) for Result:
    11. Verify and/or document the available RESULT Codes
    >> RESULT: They are again the lookup values for the Complete a Call lookup values  from Preparation Steps 25. and not as expected for an Action as from  Preparation Steps 19.

    13. Create History icon
    14.  By default Complete Call appears >> change this to an Event (By  default this complete action takes a beginning and end time therefore  considered as an Appointment)
    15. Open in the upcoming Complete Event dialog the Lookup list (via the right arrow) for Result:
    16. Verify and/or document the available RESULT Codes
    >> RESULT: They are again the lookup values for the Complete a Call lookup values  from Preparation Steps 25. and not as expected for an Appointment as  from Preparation Steps 7.


    17. Cancel
    18. Create History icon
    19.  By default Complete Call appears >> change this to an Event (By  default this complete action takes a beginning and end time therefore  considered as an Appointment)
    20. Select the All Day check box so that this is now a GoldMine Activity Event
    21. Open in the upcoming Complete Event dialog the Lookup list (via the right arrow) for Result:
    22. Verify and/or document the available RESULT Codes
    >> RESULT: They are again the lookup values for the Complete a Call lookup values  from Preparation Steps 25. and not as expected blank for an Event as  from Preparation Steps 13.





    [DISCUSSION]
    - This does not happen when activities are scheduled prior completion
    - This happens also from the Contact List >> Create History icon
    -  This is not the case for Reference and Activity Code as they show  correct (For Reference there was a RM issue 225660 logged which was  fixed in GMConnect 2014.2 HF4)

    [WORKAROUND]
    All workarounds are slightly inconvenient but possible

    A. Schedule Activity prior Completion
    1. Log into GoldMine Web
    2. Browse to / Search for Bea Defkow and open her record
    3. Schedule icon
    4. Select appropriate Activity type and enter data as desired
    5. OK
    6. Browse to Contact record's Pending
    7. Complete the Pendng activity created in steps 3. - 5.
    8. Open in the upcoming Complete activity dialog the Lookup list (via the right arrow) for Result:
    >> The RESULT code will show the appropriate Lookup values for the activity type



    B. Complete History item and then re-edit it
    1. Log into GoldMine Web
    2. Browse to / Search for Bea Defkow and open her record
    3. Create History icon
    4. By default Complete Call appears >> change this to the desired activity type
    5. Fill in data as desired apart form the RESULT code
    6. OK
    7. Browse to Contact record's History
    8. Click and open the completed activity created in steps 3. - 6.
    9. Open in the upcoming Completed activity dialog the Lookup list (via the right arrow) for Result:
    >> The RESULT code will show the appropriate Lookup values for the activity type



    C. wherever possible and known enter the RESULT code manually
    1. Log into GoldMine Web
    2. Browse to / Search for Bea Defkow and open her record
    3. Create History icon
    4. By default Complete Call appears >> change this to the desired activity type
    5. Fill in data as desired even based on Lookup values for all fields apart form the RESULT code
    6. Enter manually the desired/correct RESULT code
    7. OK
