Error when trying to rehost dBase 6.7 data into fresh install of GMPE 9.0.0.102: Failed to init new record in table USERLOG. Cannot insert duplicate key row in object dbo.userlog

Version 2

    Details

Cannot insert duplicate key row in object dbo.userlog

    Resolution

    [CAUSE/REASON]

This happens when rehosting because their are duplicate items in the USERLOG table.

    [RESOLUTION]
IMPORTANT: This will require the use of advanced dbase tools so you may need to contact a GoldMine solutions partner for the following:

    1. Open the USERLOG table with a dbase editor such as BR7 to try and find the duplicate values and remove them

    or do the following:

    2. Get a fresh set of USERLOG tables from a fresh dbase install of GoldMine.
    - This should include the following files:
    - USERLOG.DBF
    - USERLOG.MDX
    - You can find also fresh set of these tables on the 'Attachments' tab of this article.
    3. Replace your current USERLOG dbase tables with the tables in Step 2 (above)
    4. Retest the rehost.
