How to remove the Object Matching Panel from the New Issue form for the Self Service Role

    Customer would like to remove the Object Matching panel from the New Issue form for the Self Service role:



    Resolution

    To remove the search\Object Matching panel for the SelfService role:

    •     Log into the AdminUI under the Administrator role
    •     Go to Build > Page Layout > Self Service > My Items > Advanced Options
    •     Select the Issue template (ie 'Incident)> Configure: Note the layout that is being used
    •     Now go to Business Objects > Incident > Layouts: Select the layout
    •     Open the Grid view and see which view is being used:(Example "On request to create new object show: formEdit")
    •     Go back to the Initial 'Edit layout' page for this layout and select the view (ie 'formEdit')
    •     Uncheck the box for 'Enable Matching panel' and save.
