Error in System Configuration Wizard: after updating DB server: 'HEAT Application server domain name already exists in tenants'

    Details

    Customer moved their databases to a new server and needed to update the database info for the ConfigDB, as well as all tenants.
    They tried running the System Configuration Wizard and were able to update the DB server information for the ConfigDB, but then got an error when trying to update the tenant information:




    Resolution

    Below are the steps to update the DB server info for HEAT Service Management after moving the database to a different server:

    - Run the System Configuration Wizard and update the DB server info for the ConfigDB only,
    - Launch the HEAT application and log into the ConfigDB, then update the DB server info for each of the tenants.
    - You should now be able to run the complete System Configuration Wizard and confirm the new settings.
