    We're running the Total Incident Times by Item Type report and are finding the total time for our Item Types do not match the total time on the Incident Timesheet by Technician Report. Do either of these have special qualifications such as the incident being closed, the actual opened date of the incident, etc. that would skew the numbers?


    Resolution

    In regards to the 2 reports that you have been running, they will never balance out each other, for they are calculating different data. In regards to the Timesheet report, that will be a calculation of all time spent by an technician on all incidents. The Item Type Report will calculate all hours spent for that specific Item. So the two reports do not relate to each other.
