- The reason for this behavior is the 'duplicate' MERGECODES row - the correct and valid for CONTACT1 and the additional wrong one for CONTACT2 >> this should happen ONLY on customers who started with a GM 4.0 or sooner or where the partner customized the database based on such an old COMMON sample database
[WORKAROUND] / [RESOLUTION]
- This field is NOT available as column in the CONTACT2 and cannot be used by GoldMine, therefore the row within the CONTUDEF can be deleted.
- Before applying the steps verify if in the CONTACT2 table structure that there is no column MERGECODES (while unexpected make sure to verify)
